The Vermont Internet Crimes Task Force exists as a distributed network of investigators, forensic examiners, prosecutors, and outreach/education specialists located in all areas of Vermont. If you are making an initial report of Internet or computer crime, or need assistance, you may do one of two things:
First - You may contact the law enforcement agency that serves your local area. If they require technical assistance, they can contact the Task Force as outlined below. See the Participating Agencies link on this site to see a list of Vermont law enforcement agencies who have officers who are task force affiliates.
Second - You may contact the Task Force Coordinator at 802-540-2112, and an investigator will return your call. Additionally, you may contact us via e-mail at kcarlson@bpdvt.org. Please provide your name, address, location of the incident, a telephone number and e-mail address, and brief synopsis of your report.
If you have safety concerns or would like an Internet Safety presentation to your school or organization, please click on the Public Outreach and Education link on the left side of this page.
